Special / Additional Relaxations

Persons affected by the 1984 riots and their dependants: 5 years relaxation.

There is no official cap on the number of attempts. You can apply every year until you exceed the age limit. General category candidates can apply till they turn 30.

The starting basic pay is approximately Rs. 36,000 per month (Pay Scale: 23700–980/7–30560–1145/2–32850–1310/7–42020) with additional allowances including DA, HRA, and other perks. Total CTC is approximately Rs. 8–9 LPA depending on the posting city.
