Educational Qualification

Army Wing: Class 12 pass in any stream. Navy & Air Force Wings: Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics. Class 12 appearing students may also apply.

Yes. Following a Supreme Court order in August 2021, female candidates are now eligible to apply for NDA. They can join the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA.
NDA examination is conducted twice a year - NDA I (notification in December/January, exam in April) and NDA II (notification in May/June, exam in September). Both result in separate course intakes.
For the Army wing: Class 12 pass in any stream. For the Navy and Air Force wings: Class 12 pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates appearing in Class 12 exams can also apply.
