Educational Qualification
Graduate-level posts: Bachelor's degree. Undergraduate-level posts: Class 12 pass (or ITI equivalent). Certain posts require typing speed.

Special / Additional Relaxations
- Candidates domiciled in J&K from Jan 1, 1980 to Dec 31, 1989: 5 years relaxation.
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years relaxation.
- Railway Group C & D serving employees and ex-apprentices: additional relaxation as per Railway Board rules.
Important Notes
- Age is calculated as of July 1st of the notification year for RRB NTPC.
- UG-level posts (Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk) have an upper limit of 30 years for General category.
- Graduate-level posts (Station Master, Goods Guard) have an upper limit of 33 years for General category.
- No fixed attempt limit — apply until you exceed the age limit.
